Fans of Taylor Swift may now hear her speak once more thanks to the new version of her 2010 single, “Speak Now.” That’s right! Swift re-recorded her popular 2010 album Speak Now, and its “Taylor’s Version” is ready for the listeners!
After the painful aftermath of the sale of her original master recordings in 2020, Swift decided to rerelease the album as “Taylor’s Version,” making it the third in her repertoire to do so. (It is preceded by “Fearless” and “Red”).
Swift took to her Instagram to share this announcement with her beloved fans. She wrote, “It’s here. It’s yours, it’s mine, it’s ours. It’s an album I wrote alone about the whims, fantasies, heartaches, dramas and tragedies I lived out as a young woman between 18 and 20”
The 14 original tracks from “Speak Now” have been rerecorded on “Taylor’s Version,” which also includes the songs “Ours” and “Superman” from the bonus version that was published in 2010. The album’s standout tracks, such as “Back to December,” “Mine,” “Sparks Fly,” and “Mean,” keep their integrity while sporting a more polished gloss and Swift’s consistently assured vocals.
