Suspects Arrested in Boxill Murder
St Lucia Police have arrested two men in connection with this week's homicide outside the Derek Walcott Square.
17 year old Marlon Boxill of Rock Hall was fatally stabbed on Monday night during the Mas on the Square festivities.
A post-mortem on the body found the cause of death to be hemorrhagic shock due to a single puncture wound to the chest.
Assistant Commissioner of Police in charge of Crime - Vernon Francois has credited the public for the breakthrough in their investigation.
He added that the suspects and their victim had been in an altercation, prior Monday night's fatal stabbing.
He says one of the men in custody has a history of brushes with the law.
Both suspects are expected to be brought before the courts shortly to be formally charged.
