Second Carnival-related Homicide Recorded

St Lucia Police are investigating the island's latest homicide.

One man was killed early Monday morning on the Marchand Playing field.

The victim has been identified as a 24 year old resident of the Marchand Boulevard.

Police say he was stabbed to death shortly after one o'clock this morning.

No one has been arrested in connection with the incident.

It's the second murder directly associated with the carnival celebrations.

Just last week another young man - 17 year old Marlon Boxill of Rock Hall - was stabbed in the city during the Mas on the Square celebrations.

Two men have since been arrested in connection with this incident.
