PM wants consensus on boundaries

In the absence of any substantial changes to the constitution, Prime Minister Allen Chastanet is suggesting that there be some consensus with the opposition party regarding the Boundaries Commission.
According to Prime Minister Chastanet, considering that there have been dialogue on the subject and based on recommendations by former Prime Minister Kenny Anthony, among other things, he is therefore appealing for quick action to be taken.
Prime Minister Chastanet also explained that based on the absolute numbers, it worked out that no seat should less than 6,000 or more than 9,000.
Prime Minister Chastanet was one of three panelists on NTN’s weekly discourse on constitutional reform. The two others being, Attorney at Law, Andie George and Leader of the Opposition, Honourable Philip J Pierre.
